Sausage, Mushroom & Potato Gratin

Gratins is originated in French Cuisine, in which the cooked main ingredients are topped with a browned crust, either using grated cheese or breadcrumbs or eggs. The main ingredients can be anything of our choice, but a classic gratin is always made with  thinly sliced potatoes soaked up in all the goodness of a milk-and-cream mixture.
In this recipe i used sausages, mushrooms and potatoes, sauted with little onion and garlic, and mixed up in milk & cream mixture and the topped up with egg and baked till golden brown crust is formed. The recipe is so versatile and you can use any veggies as per the availability in your pantry. And i can say it was a yummy  quick fix dinner
