Bread Sausage Rolls


Sausages are my husbands all time favorite snack, meal and much more. So whatever i do with sausages he will accept it. And This one i made it during one Ramadan, when my pantry was almost empty before the weekend shopping. And found it to be quite filling, so made for breakfast on some other usual days. 

Bread Sausage Rolls
Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Bread – 6
Sausages – 6
Eggs – 2
Cheese for you choice – ½ cup(Cheddar, mozzarella, any cream cheese etc.) (I used mozzarella)
Pepper Powder - ¼ tsp
Coriander leaves (thinly chopped)
Salt
Oil

1. Shallow fry the sausages in oil (1tbsp) till all sides are done and keep aside.
2. Whisk well Egg, salt, pepper and coriander leaves and keep aside.
3. Roll up bread slices one by one using a rolling pin.
4. Now take each flattened bread slices, do an egg wash (brush little egg on the bread using a brush or spoon) keep a fried sausage on one end of the bread, spread the cheese near the sausage and roll the bread. Seal the bread using little egg / water. 
Repeat the same for all bread slices and sausages.
5. In a pan, add little ghee (2 tbsp), dip each bread sausage roll in the egg mix and shallow fry them in the ghee until all sides become golden brown.
