Pasta in Creamy Tomato Meat Sauce
This Paste recipe is my family favorite and i make it quite often. It has a rich tangy flavor of tomatoes & divine creamy texture. This delicious recipe can be made effortlessly with no times. Everyone who eats it goes for a second serving and i swear it is gonna be the same you with as well. :D
Pastas are always my quick fix dinner and rescuer on lazy nights after work and this is one of the recipe which i like to go for and is quite easy and versatile. In the recipe, you can use minced chicken or even cooked and shredded chicken instead of minced meat, if you don't want to go with red meat. And the veggies also can be used according to your choice.
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 30 minutes
Ingredients:-
Pasta of any shape - 3 cups
Onion - 1
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Carrot - 1 big (diced)
Capsicum - 1 (diced)
Minced Beef - 400 g
Beef Stock - 1 cup
Pepper Powder - 2 tsp
Chili flakes - 1 tsp
Italian Seasoning - 1 tsp
Oregano - 1/2 tsp
Tomato Paste -4 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Cheese cubes - 4
Mozzarella / Cheddar / Parmesan (shredded) - a handful
Butter - 2 tbsp
Flour - 1 1/2 tbsp
Sugar - a pinch
Salt as required
Method:-
1. Cook the pasta as per the packet instruction, drain and keep aside.
2. In a pan, add butter , add onion and saute till translucent, add ginger garlic paste and saute for a while.
3. Add Carrot and any other veggies used. Also add minced beef and roast it well till its brown and no longer pink. About 5 to 10 minutes.
4.Add tomato paste and saute for a while
5.Add pepper powder, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, oregano, flour and mix well. Add capsicum and beef stock. Once it is getting boiled, add milk and cheese cube. and mix till all sauce has thickened. Cover an cook in low flame for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the pasta , mix well.
7. Add any available cheese mozzarella, cheddar or Parmesan and mix well. Or spread these cheese over the pasta and bake till cheese melts and become golden.
Notes:-
1. Tomato paste can be substituted with tomato puree or even chopped tomatoes.
2. Beef stock can be substituted with chicken stock or even hot water if you don't have both.
3. For stock, you can use the ready made stock cubes and just mix in 1 cup hot water.
4. While cooking pasta you can add some oil to the water to prevent pastas from sticking each other.
5. Once drained immediately run cold water over pasta and this will also help the pastas to stay apart.
6. The veggies can be used as per your choice, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, baby corn etc can be used.
7. Sausages can also be added for extra bite.
8. Also you can use minced chicken or shredded chicken if you don't want to go with red meat.
