Baked Rice and Noodles Cake


If you have any kind of left over rice, go for it, you won't regret 😊😊. Friday's are big lunch days and mostly its biriyani's or any other kind of rice. Whenever Biriyani's are made left over rice are for sure. So for Saturdays being the laziest day for me which i have reserved for cleaning, washing and the list goes on, this is a quick fix one.

The left over rice is kept as a base and the noddles combined in egg milk mix is poured on the to of if it. The moisture from egg-milk mix will penetrate to the rice as well, which makes it bake to perfection. Finally sprinkle over  the cheese and here you goes with a delicious outcome.

Baked Rice and Noodles Cake
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Baking Time : 15 minutes

Ingredients:-
Left over Rice - 2 cups (i had biriyani Rice)
Maggi Noodles - 2 cups
Egg - 2
Milk 1 cup
Salt
Pepper
Mozzarella Cheese - 1 cup
Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 cup (optional)

Method:-
1. In a bowl, whisk together egg, milk, salt and pepper.
2. Add in 2 cups of cooked maggi noodles in to the egg mix and combine well
3. Grease a baking dish with butter/ oil n dusted with flour.
4. As a base keep the left over biriyani rice. Spread it evenly.
5. Over it spread evenly the egg noodles mix.
6. Top up with the mozzarella and cheddar cheese
7. Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 15 minutes or until the eggs are cooked well.

Notes:-
1. Can be made with left over ghee rice as well.
2. If plain rice the season it with some  butter salt and pepper and any additional flavour as you desire.
