Apple Bread Pudding


Deserts after Friday big lunch is a must, as you know Fridays are weekends in middle eastern countries. And in one of the Friday, it was Apple bread pudding as i had apples since long and always smiling on me whenever i open  the refrigerator.
Baked bread pudding is an easy desert for me whenever am craving for puddings. This time on usual bread pudding, i added the slices of apples coated with brown sugar & cornflour and it turned out awesome with the pleasing apple flavor.

Apple Bread Pudding
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Baking Time : 40 minutes

Ingredients:-
Apple - 3 (pealed and cut into small pieces)
Bread - 8 (cut into dices), i used brown bread here
Egg - 3
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar
vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
Brown Sugar - 1 cup
cornflour - 3 tbsp
Ice cream, nuts or any sweet sauce while serving (optional)

Method:-
1. Arrange bread pieces in a grease baking tray.
2. Whisk together egg, milk, sugar, vanilla essence & cinnamon Powder and combine well.
3. Pour the egg-milk mix over the bread, the mix should be spread to all the breads pieces.
4. In another bowl, add apple pieces, brown sugar and cornflour. Mix well.
5. Keep these coated apple pieces over the bread mix
6. Bake for 40 minutes at 175 degree Celsius.
7. Once chilled, serve with ice cream, nuts or any sauces like chocolate, toffee, caramel etc.
