Chicken And Liver Fried Masala



Chicken and Liver Fried Gravy is really an easy finger licking yummy recipe which should be tried if you are a chicken liver devour.

Chicken And Liver Fried Masala
Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Cooking Time : 30 minutes

For Marinating Chicken & Liver:
Chicken Liver - 450 g
Chicken - 1 breast piece / 200g
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Coconut Milk Powder - 1 tbsp
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp (optional)
Salt
For Gravy
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 4
Onion - 1 big
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chilies - 2
Pepper Powder
Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 cup
Cherry Tomatoes - 6 / half of 1 medium tomato / tomato paste - 1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - a handful
Mint leaves - 6 leaves
Oil
Salt

Shallow frying the marinated Chicken
Saute onion til golden, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and then add 1 cup of water.
Add in fried chicken, then add corriander, mint leaves and tomatoes.



Method:
1. Wash, clean and drain the chicken and liver.
2. Marinate chicken and liver under ingredients under marinate. Keep for at least 5 minutes.
3. In pan , add some oil, and shallow fry the marinated chicken and liver for 10 to 15 minutes or until almost done. Keep them aside.
4. In the same pan, add 2 tbsp oil, add cardamom and cloves. Let them splutter.
5. Add in Onions and once onions are golden, add ginger garlic paste and green chilies. Saute till the raw smell disappears.
6. Add 1 cup of water in the marinated bowl, mix water well with remaining marination in the bowl and pour the water to onion mix. Let it boil.
7. Add in the fried chicken and liver to it. Mix well.
8. Cover and cook in a low flame till chicken and liver are thoroughly cooked. Adjust salt in between. About 5 to 10 minutes.
9. Add in Coriander leaves, mint leaves, tomatoes and pepper powder. Give them a mix and cover and cook for another 5 minutes in low flame and its done

Notes:
1. You can add any kind of veggies like carrot, potato, cauliflower etc into the recipe.
2. Add more water for a loose consistent gravy
