Oats Semolina Idli / Oats Semolina Steamed Savoury Cakes

The instant oats semolina Idli with a soft and spongy texture   is definitely a healthy breakfast option without compromising on the delicious taste. No soaking No fermenting, still soft, spongy and tasty idlis. Idlis are popular breakfast option for South Indians and North Srilankans. They are very versatile, that we can have it with any type of gravy, usually chutneys and sambar. But Idlis with Non- veg gravies are simply awesome. My toddler loves idlis, she eats them as such, holding in her cute little hands and then bite bite bite. So once in a week i prepare them. This time i had some left over sambar in my fridge but didn't prepare for idli or dosa. You know they need 1 prior day preparation for soaking and fermenting. So Tada! this instant oats semolina idli was made in no time. No soaking No fermenting, still a soft, spongy and tasty idlis. We loved it.  With this quantity i made 16 medium idlis.
