Roasted Chilli Cashews


Cashews nuts are something i always loves to munch on from the childhood. And roasted cashews are seriously a super addictive one.
Besides prefect freshness, the advantage of roasting the cashew is that you can use as much as or as little as salt and spices as you like, be sure that nothing extraneous is added 😉, and get the exact degree of roast you want and also it ought to save money.
These chilli cashews are guaranteed to fire up your appetite.

Roasted Chilli Cashews
Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Ingredients:-
Cashews - 1 cup
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves - 2 strands
Salt
Ghee - 1 1/2 tbsp

Method:-
1. In a pan, add ghee, once hot, add curry leaves.
2. Add Cashews and roast well. Make sure the flame should be low to medium.
3. Once the cashews turns to golden color, add chilly powder and salt according to you taste buds and mix well.
4. Turn off the flame and let it cool.
5. Store in an airtight container.


Notes:- 
1. The spice levels can be increases or decreased according to your taste buds.
2. You can even add 2 or 3 drops of lemon juice along with the spices.
3. You can even bake it by spreading the cashews over a baking tray and bake for 8 minutes at 160 degree Celsius and the mix with spices, salt and ghee. Return to oven and bake for another 2 minutes. Done!
