Brownies



Brownies with ice cream are irresistible for me and this recipe is a must try and a foolproof one which i had made a number of time and the family just enjoyed having it in every single bite with home-made ice creams. (will be sharing the recipe soon)

The one in the picture is brownie with peanuts ice cream which was out of this world.


Brownies
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Total Time : 35 minutes

Ingredients
Butter - 150 g
Dark Chocolate (70%) - 150g
Brown sugar - 3/4 cup
Eggs – 3 (White & Yellow Separated)
Plain flour – ½ cup
Corn flour – 20 g (little less than ¼ cup)
Milk – 1/8 cup
White fine sugar – 1/8 cup
Salt – a pinch

Method:-
1. In a Sauce Pan, melt butter completely in very low flame.
Add salt.
Add chocolate pieces.
Let it melt completely in a very low flame. Once done off the flame & keep aside.

2. In a bowl, add egg yolks, whisk them.
Add brown sugar, whisk well till u get a creamy texture.
Add the melted chocolate into this and fold well.
Sieve plain flour and corn flour together and add it to this chocolate egg mix and fold very well. Add milk & fold.
Keep aside

3. In another bowl, beat egg white and white sugar on a high speed till u get soft peaks.
Add this to the chocolate mix and again fold well.

4. Pour this to the greased baking dish and bake @ 180 deg Celsius for 20 minutes



Notes:-
1. Grease the dish using butter and flour.
Apply Butter all over the dish and dust it with plain flour.
Remove the excess flour by just tapping the dish upside down.

2. You can add chopped nuts to this mix if you need crunchy brownie, or even chocolates like snickers can be added and just name it “walnut brownies”, “snickers brownies: 😃
